As always, nice pictures Papabear!

How "moody" is it to shoot (recoil, etc.)?

Papabear, people tend to forget that the 44 sp. is a major caliber in favor of the 40S&W and the 45ACP. semi auto pistole's.
For those of who enjoy the accuracy of the 44 sp. and appreciate the power and simplicity of the caliber realize it is an ideal concealed carry or home defense weapon that should not be over looked for daily use.
Very nice photo's.

.44 spl is hard to beat. The 431 being heavier than my CA Bulldog is I'll bet a joy to shoot. The 246 grn lead are harder on the hand than the 200 gr. 'Silver tips' that was with 'stock' grips it's better with Pacs. I thought about buying a new 2.5 inch barrel bulldogs. But I heard there are quality issues, but don't know that for a fact.

Hey all, thanks for the replies, I reload for the 44mag/sp using 200gr & 24 gr lead cast bullets, even with the 240gr loads and the weight of the 431 its pretty mild, not all that much flip/recoil, my wife has all but taken it away from me cause she likes to shoot it and she is not a big strong gal, 5'6" 130lbs. I also have a Ruger Vaquero 44mag the recoil on it in 44sp is really mild.
