Thanks Curly for you kind comment, yes I have probably put 200rds or more through it but not lately though but now that you mentioned it and spring is finally here and my outdoor range only 15 min away it will travel with me there on my next trip. I have a ton of Tula 7.62x39 ammo for it, mostly Wolf in the spam cans (floor sweep powder) I got years ago fron AIM, but also a lot of the Silver Bear 20 packs and still have 5 South African 7.62x39 sealed battle packs from years ago that came with 7-200rd sealed packs that's that I got at a gun show in Fla a few years back too that's really good ammo plus the 200rds of Chinese 7.62x39 steel core in the Chinese chest pouch in the photo.

Yes it sounds like you can get busy on reducing that stash. :)

Nagant M95

Post by papabear » May 13th, 2017, 9:13 am

1916 rearsenaled Tula Nagant M95 "Peter the Great" 7.62x38mmR, this one is a double-action version for officers; there was a single-action version for the ranks. Several years ago I pick this up for $99 +tax.
