The banner for the site is black on my computer screen, and the writing saying...

Hey, tman11787, you have XX messages, XX are new.

is in a dark grey and very tough to read. Can the webmaster change the font color to white and bold it or make it one font size bigger...?

...just a suggestion.

+1 on tman's suggestion...

It's right next to the banner on top... the 0 Messages is in blue and quite legible, the rest is dark grey on the black background

The way they set the board up is kind of backwards. The text color at the top has to be the text color used in posts. If I lighten it up top, then the text you're reading now will lighten. Plus, that area doesn't give any important info anyway, except new PM's which are bright blue.

see my old eyes are not the only ones that have a hard time reading this.

As already been stated that area doesn't give any important info anyway, except new PM's which are bright blue.
But if I want to read it

I go to- edit-select all -click on what I want to see and wallah

Now that I know where I am at, I wish I knew where I am going although I don't have anything to do when I get there
