I'd say that this has to be a free hand shoot though, No resting the gun on a bench or using a machine rest. ;)

Informal email-in shooting competition

I sent an email to them explaining what we were doing and sent the link
I don't know how difficult it is to make a new section devoted just for the shoot or shoots
but what I planed to do start 2 new treads in one of the other sections and aks Abwehr or Dickfunk to put a sticking on them ,I would start it in this section , but I don't think section needs any more stickies put into it. they can always move them later

I found a pair of zee grips and a original grip screw and nut that I will donate for first prize unless someone comes up with something better and I think the loser should get a WOLFF 18# hammer spring that I will donate too
no blank target posted ( LOL)

anjdrofter,

No pal, that thingy you got at KC would blow away the target, lets just stick to the rules, I know you have at least two P-64's to choose from. This is going to be a great experience, and Norm is donating a original set of grips, that is a very nice thing for him to do to do. Even as much as I practice, I doubt that with these old eyes I would win, but just try to keep me out, just might surprise a few of them young whipper snappers.......... ;D......this is all in fun guys, lets enjoy it and have some fun.

That pair of Zee grips is going to make this extremely competitive!

That is very generous Norm, thanks.

Wow !
This thing has really taken off. Had to read 4 pages to get caught up. Well Normsutton's donation of the coveted "Zee Grips" is a top shelf incentive for sure. You da man Norm! I wonder if we are pioneering new territory by being the first internet gun forum with an on line pistol shoot event. I've never heard of it before. I'm not sure I can tear the center out of that target with all 5 rounds but I will soon find out. I bet several members here could use that original grip nut too. After almost losing mine, I check it for tightness every couple magazines fired.

I started a new thread labeled "P-64 Independence Day Shoot" in the General Discussion section with the rules of the match as the first post. Let me know if I got a rule wrong or if I need to change/add anything and I will change it ASAP. If you have your target entries ready go ahead and post them.

Norm,
The Zee grips are a very generous prize for you to donate, thanks.

I wonder if any fool has ever brought up an on line target and then shot the hell out of their monitor. :)

OK Guys,
Got my targets setting on the desk drying. Will try to get to the range by Monday and post the targets. Good luck to every one who chooses to compete, shoot safe and have fun.
