Do I have your mag?

Last P64 I got from SOG came with a spare mag that has a s/n of 02144. First one I got, the spare mag didn't have any s/n so I assume that this is matched to a gun.

I know the odds are small but if this matches anyone's gun and they want it, let me know and we can swap or something.

Mine came with one # matching mag, 07316, but my spare is 00248 if anyone is interested in a trade. What a neat idea, a registry/swapmeet of numbered mags!

I think all my spare mags match, but I will check this weekend to make sure. I know one of the spares is blank, so I figure it is correct, LOL!

The topic for this thread was started back in January. We need to pull all the inputs together, possibly as a sticky, and keep adding mag numbers for a possible swap.

"novgarod", good point. I will make this a Sticky and anyone can post their mismatched magazine for other to see. If you see one that matches your pistol, send that individual a PM and/or an e-mail. Good Idea!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask - but I have searched the site and cannot find anything better. I bought my P64 about 7 months ago. Only came with one mag which makes for a long day at the range. Have been looking all over the net and at dealers and can not seem to locate anyone who sells extras. SOG includes them with a sale but does not seem to sell them independetly. Any ideas??? JB

I got mine, a clean and numbered original, at a show from David Mcwhorter Sales, clipgrip@aol.com, 269-962-0214. They're in Battle Creek MI.

jboaks - Check the "Stuff for sale" section. I believe Bartos has some mags. You can also find them on eBay.

anjdrifter - Check the "Stuff for sale" section also, there are a couple of people selling grips. Wood ones that are sweet and some injection molded ones that are pretty nice also.

anjdrifter,

First, WELCOME to the P-64 Forum! We hope you will come back often.

As to the pistol slipping in your hand, here is a cheap means that may work. There was a thread a couple of months back on this subject, and someone went to a local bike shop and got a free inner tube that they had thrown in the trash. Then they cut a section of the tube and slipped it over the grips. This was easy, low cost, and they liked the feel. This may be an alternantive to new grips, or you can purchase the "slip on" type on type that grip manuafacturers sells.

I finally got home last night and I checked my spare magazines and I have one with the number 08868 that does not match anyting I have. Now, the only problem is the last digit in the S/N; it LOOKS like an "8". Whoever EP the numbers was not very good and the last digit is up to interpretation, but appreas to be an "8". Do any of you have a pistol with this S/N?

Hello everyone. This seems like a good place for a first post. I recently purchased two P-64's from Southern Ohio Guns. They seem to be nice pistols, especially for the price. I also purchased 3 extra mags from them at $9.95 each around Christmas. So they may still have some left for those who are looking.

The two pistols I have came with unmarked mags. But the extra's I ordered have EP markings of RZ03278, 04183, and 05716.

My pistols are SZ04242 and BB07152.

If you have a pistol that matches my mag serials, I'm open to an even trade (Assuming same condition) of my mag with your SN for your either blank or marked mag, the mags I have are in like new condition, I'd say 99%+ no marks on the bluing and only slight marks on the follower, (I ran a box of ammo through one on my P-64's and a Hungarian PA-63 last week). Other than that I'd call them new.
