P64 ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY/PARTS MANUAL

Given the amount of work that went into these documents...might I suggest that you put clear copyright notices on both, even though you're giving them away for free. There's little to stop an unscrupulous individual from using any or all of your photographs for their own profit.

arex... Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate that. However, I am ok with it the way it is. I think that as long as it is here free then it can be found by people who are looking for it. I did it to assist anyone who might need it and its ok if someone wants to use the photos. I did it for all of us and hope it does get used alot.

You're alright! No matter what the Captain said.......

(That's a joke! ;D 8-) ;D)

When I say that to my wife, she tells me where the Capt. can put it. ;D I just love to see those green eyes flash though!

I have been away from this forum too long. I was waiting for this manual to do a take down on my P-64, I forgot to get back here and download it. Now that I have, I just wanted to say you have once again out done yourself. I don't think we should take for granted, all the work you have done, not only on this project but others, and the selflessness that has to be a part of them all getting done. Outstanding work my friend! Your kids are a lucky group, they get all that great knowledge and spirit of excellence passed on to them. Thanks again, oh, and what is the next project you will be taking on? World peace? Good luck on that one! :(

P64 ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY/PARTS MANUAL

Troy,

Got one of these about a year ago to ultimately be used for carry. Finally got a chance to wring it out a few weeks ago at the range and was surprised at how aggressive the recoil was and how stiff the trigger pull was in DA. Looked around for parts and got a Wolff recoil spring which came with a new firing pin spring and a set of 18,19, and 20# hammer springs. Didn't have a problem with the recoil spring other than figuring out just how to hold my mouth getting the slide back on. Didn't anticipate any problem with the hammer spring, but your trick with the paper clip is sure going to make that easier. The firing pin had me scratching my bald spot for quite a while. Thanks to the effort you put into creating these manuals this will be a couple of hours rather than the better part of a day. You're a great humanitarian!!

Thank you,

blitz

If someone would forward me a copy, I'll host it since the links are dead. No use in this being a sticky if the links don't work. Thanks!
