Would lighter loads (like the upcoming 9 x 18 PowRBall) work well, you think?

Should be fine, but I posted that their website was showing a much weaker load for the 9X18 than their listed 380 load. Somebody said it might have been a mistake, but I would check before buying.

Yes, you are correct about checking the weight of the bullet before buying the new PowRBalls for 9x18mm. I sure do want to get some of these is they are good. I have them for my .40 S&W Sig P226 and the samples I saw fired in geletin was VERY impressive. That little plastic ball opened the .40 up to almost double the diamter!

I wasn't talking about Corbon Powerball bullet wt.. It's the energy and velocity posted on their site for the 9 Mak that were well below their 380 load numbers.
Must be a mistake, but I just checked the site, and it's still showing the same numbers.

to: b52stan et al :bullet size: I heartily agree: I always ask someone who complains about tool much recoil: " do you use the ammo designed for the handgun"??? This seems so true for our CZAKs. Messing around w/ ammo and springs from the original "OEM" is canabalism and detracts from the integrity of the item. The team that designed the P 64 were not dummies and had benefit of experience of Mauser et al. Admittedly they were better than some of the iseguy amatuers. So why mess w/ expertise and take a chance on getting hurt. fjblackesq

Sorry, bartos - the Rak has got 15 rd magazine (1 per gun) for transfer and 25 rounders (set of 3 per gun) for combat. Before the advent of the Vanad (P-83) there were no Polish weapons with a magazine capacity suited to the 16 rd carton. The box capacity was a heritage of the Makarov, with it's 8 rd magazines and 2 magazines per gun.

Greetings to all forum members. I'm new here, and to the forum things as well. How can one get himself all the data on the left: pics, locations etc? How can I post pictures etc? I got much Czak related historical material, photos, holsters (including the Commie times secret police undercover holsters - would you believe: 4 different types of these?), you name it. All comes from a book I'm planning for some time this or next year. Just tell me you want to see and read it all - and if you would not, I'll shove it to you anyways ;D

WELCOME to the P-64 Forum! We are certainnly glad to have you as a contributor. There is not much information on this great little pistol in the US, but with help from all the members from Poland, we can learn!

Posting Pictures: Go to the Website and Forum Info on the main index. There is a thread about how to post photos. Makes sense... I've got some old Soviet-era Russian Makarov rounds in the little military 16-rd boxes... Cool stuff, but I haven't been able to find any more for several years now...
