Safety into decocker only?

Has anyone been able to change or modify the safety so it acts as a decocker only? Will not stay in the “down” position. I bought a part like this for a 92 series Beretta
No. That would only work with modifications of parts. Frankly since the Safety is such a hard part to find, if anything goes wrong with trying to do this, well you've just rendered your P-64 inoperable.
Additionally the P-64 is not entirely safe to carry on Fire (this has already been debated in a different thread!!!). The Beretta 92 has a Firing Pin Block built in to prevent accidental discharge even on Fire, as well as other passive Safeties. There are NO such Firing Pin Blocks built into the P-64 nor any other passive Safeties.
In short this is a bad idea. If you want a conceal carry pistol that is decocker only then buy one with that feature.
