Broken trigger guard

Post by Thor »

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I logged on. Unfortunately about a week and a half ago the trigger guard on my 1974 P64 broke on me. I found one listed on eBay the next day but, it seems that the USPS lost it in transit. I've been scouring the Internet since then looking for an alternate replacement with no luck. Does anyone have any idea where I might find a replacement trigger guard?

I would love to get it useable again. I've had it for about 5 years and, it was my daily carry for the first four. I delighted it to range time enjoyment when I got a good deal on a used Walther P99 chambered in 40S&W.

Thanks,
Thad

How long has it been lost in transit? If you put a complaint into the USPS sometimes they turn up.

And have you checked Gunbroker? Right now there is a seller that has 6 available.

The tracking number hasn't been updated since the 17th but, I spoke with my local postmaster and, was told that the post office never saw it. When the tracking number clearly listed it as accepted. It's been a few days since checking gun broker, I'll check there now.

Thank you

Nice. Yeah they do come up every so often. Now just keep an eye out for a Safety. Those are sold as soon as they rarely come up.

Since my P64 is just a range toy now I don't use the safety anymore but, I will definitely start looking for a spare in a few pay checks.

There was a P64 trigger guard for sale on Ebay this am. Sorry, I didn't get the price.
