Trigger won't reset

Post by AF46150 »

Firing my P64 last weekend; it was working fine, placed safety on and when I flicked the safety off the trigger was still moving freely. I racked the slide cocking the pistol, hammer stayed back in cocked position but the trigger is still moving freely. Attempted a few more times with the same results. When I got home I field stripped and noted that the trigger bar is cracked and slightly bowed (but not completely broken in half yet) I don't know if that is the cause or just a contributing factor. Anyone have any ideas? I know I will need a new trigger bar but would rather not just replace that if it won't cure the problem.

Yes the trigger bar is the likely suspect.

shoot me a pm, i have a trigger bar
Shoot first, Shoot straight, and hit what you're aiming at, if you can do these things and have six rounds of ammo, you'll have two thirds more than you need to prevail.

He said that it is to small for the 9x18 Makarov rounds. So no go there.
