trigger pull

replaced hammer spring with wolf 19 lb
double action is now very stiff with a sort of catch in the middle of trigger travel

Do you know what was on it before? Also, did you double check that the Strut Washer went back on?

Nineteen lbs. is still a pretty good weight. It's MUCH better than the 25+ lb. pull the original spring gives but still not a walk in the park. Even the lightest spring available (17lb) is better but stiffer than a lot of triggers.

The "catch" you mention could be the trigger bar rubbing, trigger spring rubbing (inside pistol housing viewed through hole under slide lock arm) or something else. Have you taken it apart and looked around to see if something is rubbing/hitting somewhere?
