Trigger wont set...newbie help here

Post by RebelPanda »

Got my P64 took her to the range.
With a loaded mag and one in the chamber I slid the safety off to fire double action, when I did so the trigger fall back like it was single action... The hammer didn't move. I flicked the safety on and off with no luck. Finally I pressed down on the slid and I herd the trigger re set... I fired several magazines through her no issues... so I "Tested" it. I put the safety on then off and the same issue.

So after I hit the decocker and keep the safety on, then push the safety up to fire... my trigger wont re set.

I got the wolf springs, haven't put them in yet.

Sometimes it might take a day for replies to start flowing in. But they will.

Issue sounds familiar.

Check out this thread for starters, which after trying many different things, finally lead to the fix for me.

Here is some of what is posted there:

"While the problem I am having was limp trigger when moving safety from safe to fire, the video brought up a point that I had not messed with."

And here was my original post on similar issue:
