Decocker-Firing pin issue

Post by dtbighit »

First off just want to say hello, new member here and thanks to all for the great info, well i have a problem with my P64,if you rack the slide, dry fire it a few times, then rack the slide again, flip on the safety/decocker the safety gets bound up and will get stuck in the middle between safe and fire, when i remove the slide the firing pin has rotated to where the notch on the firing pin is up,causing everything to bind up,i can rotate the firing pin so the notch is on the side(towards the left side of the slide)with a awl and works fine until i use the decocker, any help would be apprecited, thanks in advance..............hope i was not that confusing

Am I crazy or have there been a lot of these popping up lately? I wonder if there's an issue with a specific importer/dealer getting these with decocker issues.

EDIT: No, those weren't decocker issues in the other threads, they were disconnect issues. ..ignore me.
