I just hit the range again today. I had the earlier jams with Silver Bear FMJ.
Today I tried Seller & Bellot and Winchester white box which is a little more expensive.
The S&B performed exactly like the Silver Bear, jamming after 3 rounds pretty consistently.
Then I tried the Winchester and shot the first entirely successful magload -- all six
with no jams or FTFs.
Next time I'll take 5 mags loaded with the Winchester and keep my fingers crossed.
I can use up the other stuff in my CZ-82.
I'm also happy with the spring I got from Norm, which improved the gun's performance,
even with the jammy ammo. (They used to jam on the first shot).
I ordered Wolff springs and am waiting for delivery. Then I'll spend a few hours polishing
and cleaning etc. and will work on the detente spring and safety.
Finally I am going to test some padding for the tang, like gel pads and self-stick insulation.
As it is now the gun has a wicked bite.
All that said, it's a neat little gun and I like shooting it. It's a keeper.
