I have a spare round hammer and the hammers on my P-64's are triangular. I wonder how a triangular hammer would look if it was cut? I really like the looks of a cut hammer, something less to snag on your clothing.

It would be the same. The spare hammer I cut was at one time a triangular hammer. I modified it to be a round. Then cut it for this purpose. It's all the same no matter what style you cut.

The round hammer just has the spur gone. The rest of the hammer by the hole is pretty much the same.

Imagine the red line is the contour of the round hammer. The blue is where you actually cut, basically cut the center hole in half. They turn out the same.

Thanks for the infor. I'm going to do it, I think it makes a good looking pistole look that much better.
