New Sites

Post by robalan »

I was looking at these sites and wondered if anyone has tried them. It looks interesting, but I wonder if they would last very long. If they are going to slip off after a few weeks it would not be worth it. The ad was in Americam Handgunner, March/April, page 111.

I think the need to charge them in front of a light is a deal-breaker if you're looking for the functionality of true night sights, but as an aid for shooting with the dots, they may be the ticket.

If you could keep them from falling off, they would be okay. I've tried them on a couple of Makarovs, P64s, and PA-63s. On front and rear sights. I could never keep them on for more than a week to 10 days. They would probably stay if I didn't holster the weapon. Their DaySiters fared no better.

Thanks, you confirmed it; when I saw them my first thought was that they may fall off.
