Ok, with the slide removed and the hammer at rest, NOT cocked, is the disconnector supposed to be flush with the top of the frame? If not, is it supposed to be lower than the top edge of the frame or higher? If so either way, by how much?

Thanks millions, Norm. Is that disconnector at rest? Mine sits at rest (with the hammer NOT cocked) barely visible above the top of the frame, maybe only 2-4 millimeters. If yours is at rest, I wonder why mine sits so low in the frame?

The new trigger spring is fine, Norm, but thanks to you and your kind pictures, I think we found it. The little bent arm on the bottom of my disconnector is missing, broken off. :'( Glad we found it (I'm guessing since the problem revolves around the disconnector and the bottom is missing, that's the SA/DA problem right there!), but sad that it is broken.

Thanks, Norm. I sent them an email describing the lever I need. It seems what they refer to as a Diconnector Set does not include the actual disconnector, just the mounting spring and hardware!

:( Hi fellas. Just a kindly reminder if anyone comes across a disconnector lever, I could really use one. My P64 is shelved until I do!! I got new springs, grips, and a holster not counting many boxes of ammo, but can't use it safely. I contact Tim at TGN every week or so but he has not come across one either. Rats. :P

Thank you, Dave

Seems to me you could take the broken piece in to a local machine shop, along with some photos of what it SHOULD look like, and they should be able to either weld a piece on to yours, or fabricate a whole new one, for not a whole lot of money.

I have talked with a friend who does stuff like that, his dad is a machinist(retired) and they think it should be an easy fix.

The part is not under stress, it's just used to press against a spring.

Something to think about, if you can't find a replacement.
