Note to self ....

No matter how much they look alike, a PA-63 magazine does not fit in a P-64.
I had reassembled one of my P-64's (complete with loctite on the grip screw threads) and grabbed a magazine from the bence. The magazine went in but wouldn't seat the last 1/8 inch. I thought I had assembled something incorrectly so I take off the grips again. This time I grab a different magazine and shove it in - perfect fit. What gives? Then, I notice that the magazine that worked was not the same one as the one that didn't. I put them side-by-side and noticed the difference. The PA-63 mag has a little tab on top that activates the slide lock.
Dooh.
2nd note to self. Find a solvent to remove all the loctite buildup on the grip screw threads caused by repeated use.
