On a whim I went to the new products page and there they are! Mine should ship tomorrow. I did get a calibration pack of the mainsprings ... mainly to be able to compare them to the PP springs so that we can have some data. I'll post how they compare when I get them.

Saands you all over it brother. Let us know how far it chunks hulls w/"heavy" recoil n light mainspring. I started making a list a few weeks ago of all the springs I need so I can order in 1 felled swoop. Now I'm trying 2 justify the expense as it adds up.....

I just ordered mine. It's great that Wolff kept their part of the bargain, and we should all support them for making the springs.

Norm, What was the shipping? I want to get a 20# recoil, but don't want to pay double because of shipping. If you reorder let me know and I will split the shipping with you.

I ordered the 22# ... I should be able to report on the stiffness of the mainsprings and on the stiffness of the recoil springs, but a firing test will have to wait until the weekend ... the work thing interferes with the testing thing

Hey Norm, do you have a trigger pull gauge? I'd really be interested to see the SA and DA results with the 18#. Also your take on the 20# recoil spring. My gut says your combo should be just right, with the 90-95 grain stuff most are shooting now.

no I don't
with a two hand hold I can pull the trigger in DA and the site picture doesn't move with the 18# well maybe just a little when the hammer brakes free but not that bad ( bullets used were MFS 95grn. ) at 10' the strike of the bullet was 1"to 1 1/2 " below the bull with the 20# recoil spring
I did not change the firing pin spring
ejection of cases seem to be consistent and no smiles on cases

Norm, any difference in recoil or case throw? I'm guessing that the recoil spring change won't affect the throw distance much.

the recoil seems less and more of a strait back,
not sure about cases they were hitting the ceiling and dropping 3" to the right
