Replacement Grips I make

Post by b52stan »

Thanks Zee,

Your unique skill has made a big difference for the guys on this board, who either suffered from the thumbrest grips, or have just wanted to experience your super quality, artistic and original products at a very modest price.

Pleas return when the time is right,

Stan

www.czgrips.us Beautiful Work!!!

Truth, thanks for the post. Sam Barbakov is a great guy and a real pleasure to deal with. I do not own any of his custom grips but I did buy a nice 1964 East German Makarov from him.

Mr. Zee,

Well, I can understand taking a breather. I hope you do get back into it before too long. Some of those color combinations were extremely creative, and I have 'hungry' P-64's and CZ-52's as well. I never saw anything but positive reviews on your grips for both CZ-52's and P-64's.

For what it is worth, I tend to agree with nbender. I think it's great that you offered these at about about your cost, to help other P-64 officianodos, but you may want to charge a few extra bucks if you get back into this, for those unexpected situations that come along when you can't please others no matter what you do.

Sorry I got in this too late to get some of these, but I will keep monitoring this site and if you do go back into production, I would certainly be interested.

Best wishes to you, Mr. Zee, and have a safe and happy holiday season.

+1 on what devlinfaust said--I never got a set, as you all know I have an indirect interest in the wood-grips biz, but Zee's grips are beautiful, ( not to mention a bargain, price-wise) and eventually I wouldn't mind having a set myself--like when i finally get to start carrying my P64 with some regularity ;)

Shawn -- have three of your grip sets, each are wonderful.
Remember we who have dealt with you know how talented
you are. Some folks as the saying goes just have their taste
in their mouths & are born to rain on some one's parade !
Don't give up we still need you up & running in the future if
you can get back into your Zee grips.

I wish I had bought a set now, I should have jumped at the chance to get them. All the positive responses on this site about the Zee Grips really made me want a set.

There needs to be a Kicking-Myself or Beating-My-Head-Against-The-Wall emoticon.

Truth,

Are they the non-thumbrest style and flat black in color?

I was seriously going to order a set from Zee the same day I read this thread.

Wow, imagine, I'm an old man gumming my oatmeal some day and I see that ZGrips have become a collectors item :P
Guess I should have serial numbered them, and maybe signed a couple! ;)

Well, a couple of you may be in luck...
I have two pair of grips that I found while cleaning off my workbench.
Pic is below in link...
One pair is an Ivory pair. In perfect shape. Two small spots down on the bottom of the right side where the resin had some sorty of issue and did not quite dry the same color. No quality or integrity issues.
$15.00 shipped.

The second pair is a pair of Black and OD Green grips.
The only issue with this pair is that there is a slight buldge at the top of the right panel, near the front of the panel. The pic shows it a little, but it's minor enough a picture doesn't hardly show it. Should be no issues, but will sell this pair at a discount. $13.00 shipped.

They both are the glossy no thumbrest type.
The first 'I'll take the **** pair' on here gets that pair. Then email me, and I'll send payment info (paypal or MO) ( geospacesr@hotmail.com )
