I was just thinking, wouldn't it be nice if someone made a Pistol Caliber Carbine in 9x18 MAK, then we could carry one ammo for our sidearm and have a weapon suitable for longer range work too, even hunting up to medium size game, like hogs, which I have seen hunted successfully with .22LR. With a PCC one could mount a scope, and have a really nice utilitarian weapon. Just a dream.

The Russian PP-19 Bizon 9x18 SMG in semi-auto configuration designed in 1996 would meet your requirements. Fitted with a 64-round under-barrel helical magazine and a side-folding AKS-74 butt-stock the Bizon was supposedly accurate to about 100 meters.

I for one would not hunt hogs with the 9x18 or a 9 Luger for that matter. Not enough oooommph for that hide and muscleature in my opinion. My $.02 worth.
