Favorite currently available 9x18?

Post by superferrite » February 23rd, 2016, 12:27 am

I seem to see Brown and Silver Bear, WMA, Tulammo, and Prvi Partizan regularly available these days, but precious little locally. Seems like I should just buy a case and split it with my pal.

What seems to shoot reliably and accurately in your P64s? The Makarov eats anything!
Thanks all.

I like to shoot Brass. Less wear and tear. But it costs more!

mine eats whatever I feed it hungrily and reliably. But be advised Privi Partisan brass cased has shown a tendancy to be a bit hotter loaded and may show some bulging of the cases at the feed ramp. So far no reported cases, that I know of, of any blow outs. Just so you know. Other wise if the ammo says 9x18 Mak on the head stamp shove it in and pull the trigger and it should go bang equally well.

I like Brown Bear FMJ for practice ammo. I find it more consistent in accuracy than Wolf or Red Army. For defense I like Hornady Critical Defense. I have had no problems with either in my P-64.
