Has anyone had any problems getting 9x18 Mak locally? Of course I know its easy to get it online but has anyone noticed any of their local stores having or not having Russian ammo like Brown or Silver bear?

I'm just asking because I was told some BS about Obama causing nonavailability of that and other Russian brands from a local Range the other day and I was wondering if any of you guys heard the same line of crap.

Monarch brand was available from Academy, but have not seen it it a while. He called a few other stores and they were out too. He did not no if they were going to get any more or not.

The only thing I have heard about imported ammo is an imported ammo tax. Maybe someone here could give more info on that.

I have not heard of a proposed ammo tax can anyone post a link to anything on that?
