holster

Post by keith150 »

Since it will be a while before I go out to get a holster for the little radom I took an old holster for a 1911 that the stitches were blown out I fitted the pistol to it and trimmed it down to wear I liked it I held the leather tight around it and sewed it together it's holding nice and doesn't shift or move at all I think I did a good job if I may say so

Keith, I have a box full of holsters that just didn't work out for me. I wish I had your ingenuity to make better use of them.

Keith,

Nice job, looks good. But I have a question, are you 3 handed? How did you hold the leather close to the gun and sew it? Or did you use a machine, or am I so uninformed about leather sewing that I just completely missed the point of the excercise? :?

I wrapped it around the gun and squeezed it with one hand pressed the needle through with the other for a couple of stitches and it was able to hold itself somewhat secure then I just continued on with stitching
