This may be a tad off topic, but I had to Google
"Plaxico Burress". In doing so, I realize now what you meant. I do remember that news story,
butt... I also came across another news story that makes
Mexican Carry much better than this
other option of carry!
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/1 ... 08666.html
Perhaps Jay Leno should put it in one of his
dumbest criminals segment!
By the way, Curly1 mentioned the
Remora holster. I believe (if Curly1 will confirm) that the Remora holster size is the #7 (PA-63, Walther PPK/S, Sig 230/232).
Remora also has an add on for protection against sweat. (SS option)
So in closing, I'd say no (or rather
never to
Mexican carry!) Below is an jpg attachment on how to spot most MC (Mexican Carriers).....or "Newbies" that just got their CHP/CWP and are still "self conscious" about it. Personally, I believe that
retention is more important then
deep concealment. (The above rectum news story is
WAY too deep!
Nonetheless, Level 1 retention
is, at least some kind of holster. MC is level 0 (zero).
You can purchase a plethora of Nylon holsters, (and there are some really good ones), but they may, or may not meet your needs when it comes to "concealment and retention". Forum member
dfunk makes some really nice Leather holsters specifically for the P-64. Unlike most holster makers,
dfunk is an avid P-64 owner/enthusiast. (

But....nothing with a
Thumb Break.
Perfect fit and finish, fits the P64 like a surgeon's glove, Geezz...I want a
thumb break on even an ankle holster! I kid you not.
Retention!
Oh well. ... again, "
NO MEXICAN CARRY! ..Mercy!! LOL
