Well I've put about 500 rounds through my P64 without a single issue, so am ready to start carrying it. Have started to look for a pocket holster on eBay and found this one...

Anyone tried something like it before? Try for leather or go for a cheaper nylon pocket one? Seems like the leather will hide the profile nicely

Nylon really isn't that bad. That huge "flap" thing masks the outline of the gun whether you use leather or nylon. $34 + $7 shipping just seems ridiculous to me. That is not a hard design to make, I'm not sure where people get off charging high prices for simple stuff.

The De Santis Nemesis for the PPKS is ideal for pocket carry and priced within reasonable limits. The have a rubber coating on the out side so the holster does not come out of your pocket with the gun. It is better than anything these hot shot amateur holster makers make you wait 6 weeks for.

I did forget to mention that, if you buy the nylon kind, get it with the rubber "grip" stuff. Good catch bluedsteel

Think I will give the Nemesis a try then. Thanks for all the feedback!

Re: Pocket Holster
I was going to order one from Jim Mika (http://www.frontiernet.net/~akim/pocket.htm) who did a GREAT custom pocket holster for my Black Widow (which I have just about worn out in a decade of nearly constant carry). He also did a fine IWM holster for my CZ82, although I had to loosen up the spring. But then I found this one at Sportsman's Guide (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=602113) and ordered it. The only thing is that it is just a little too big for the P64, but works fine; I can get the gun in it the pocket of the jeans shorts I am wearing now, and it distributes the weight so my pants don't hang.
