Anyone have advice on turning 9x18 ultra brass into 9x18 makarov?

I bought a ton of 9x18 ammo and components, then discovered a few 9x18 ultra brass and ammo.

Best,

C.

Based only on the dimensions that I have found,...
It seems to me that you could take once fired ultra brass and resize it using a 9x18 Makarov full length sizing die, then trim it down a little. Basically the same process that you would use when starting with 9x19 brass.
Careful to check the used brass to be sure it is Boxer primed! You would not want to break your decapper trying to remove a Berdan primer.

That's super helpful. Thanks. I have 50 unfired ultra that someone saved for me from an estate sale. He confused ultra for mak.

If I can remove the bullet and somehow use the primed case, that'd be great.

You may be better advised to sell the Ultra rounds or trade them for an equal value in 9x18 Mak.

Yes sell the Ultra ammo as it is rather rare and you should get a decent price.
