Processing Brass

A report of sorts....
I purchased some "rot gut" 9mm NATO brass to reform into 9x18mm. They look like range sweepings.
Some of the brass is badly stained. I tried to use a conventional tumblr to clean off the stains. Didn't work.
I punched out the primers with a Lee Primer Capper. The 30 caliber works fine with 9mm NATO.

I decided to soak in vinegar. Thirty minutes. This took out the stains. I plan follow with a tumble in Rice (no kidding) to shine them up. I am using Rice in order to keep the polishing compound off of my dies.
I'll ream out primer pocket with this tool...
