What is the future of 7.62x25 Tok?

Post by gman68w »

I've been looking a long time at a PPs-43C, and I've also been watching the prices of Tokarev ammo. $17~$25 for 50rnds isn't appetising for what I'd wanted to be a plinker. Is there any reason to think demand will pick up, and production levels will mean cheaper boxes of the stuff?
Jesus sez 'Pack Heat' Luke 22:36: "Then said he unto them, But now,
he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that
hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one."

I would say it has a bright future. Easy to reload for and brass in available and cheap plus you can make brass from .223 cases easy. Bullets are another story with the .30 90g Mauser being one of the few good ones and the few other .309" 85 to 90g close behind.
