Model S is 380 Airforce and the PD grips I got from a guy who did them in Corian counter top material.

My BM I have factory pearl like grips on it but cant seem to post the pics for them w/o getting an error.

Ok. Stop with the gunporn. You guys are being devious and making us mere mortals feel totally inadequate to share the same bandwidth as you. :P

Hell of a collection fellas. Very impressive. Now I will return to my hole and not come out for a while. :P

Ketcham,
Really nice examples of your Star PD & Firestar 45acp & 9m, the skateboard tape is a neat idea for those that have issues of control of their pistols.

Curly1,
Really nice examples also of your Stars PD, Model "S" and your UltraStar and I really like the your grips. Nice that you the two type box's for your PD.

I appreciate both of your photo's of your Star pistols and its nice to be able to share our interest with these Eibar Spain (pronounced A-bar) pistols and its interesting how we have a interest in different grips for them, its rare I get to share about these pistols with others, I'm a monitor on other boards but rarely get much interest on the Star's, Llama's or Astra's.

But I am addicted to gunporn! Aren't you?
Papa thanks for the kind comments. They are not as nice as yours which seem top notch but they are mine and I love em. And as far as the Eibar region pistols I am hooked, I think they are really cool and for the most part rather well made. I will talk Spanish guns with you anytime your in the mood. I am currently hunting for an Astra A-70 to add to my stable. And maybe an A-90. And someday.......the rest.
And Curly that UltraStar is cool. And thanks for getting the pic of the BM wearing the BBQ grips up. Love it.
And OG17, I am.sure I speak for us all when I say we would love to see your gunporn too.

I love the Star Pistols, if you guys don't have Antaris Star Pistols book I highly recommend it.

Gives the history of the Spanish gun makers and the civil war along with great pics and info on all the Star models.

Here's my last one.

1956 Star B with original finish and no import marks. Unfortunately it has a scratch on the front grip strap.

Came form Checkpoint Charlies with a holster and 2 mags where someone down the line scratched the SN in to the mags.

Papa the 2nd pic is the Star BM with the factory pearl grips.

The Star PD in the green plastic box has the factory grips prior to the white ones.

The famed Astra "water pistol". Heard a lot about them, mostly good. They look kinda awkward to me but how do they shoot Curly? And the Star B is very nice. Been looking on and off for a decent one myself.
And replacing the factory grips on the PD is almost required. They have to be the ugliest grips I have ever laid eyes on.
