a long wait but looks like it was worth it

Post by 6x6pinz »

A long wait but looks like it was worth it. I can now check one of my must haves off my list. I finally received my DPM28 from SMGguns. Looks great, too bad I won't have range time for a couple of weeks but then I will work it out.

That looks real nice! Hope your range time comes sooner than you think.

That looks like it would be a blast to shoot.

WOW finally got a chance to take it out and shoot it. This thing is just fabulous. I had to do the Rambo thing and fire it from the hip while holding one of the bi pod legs. The feel of the power was incredible. Funny thing is I shoot a lot of 7.62x54R but there is something about the way this one shoots that makes is feel far more powerful. The accuracy at long range was very nice. We were shooting at 650yds and able to keep most of the rounds on a 20x24" steel beam. considering we did not play with the open sights I did not think it too bad. I need to find an easier way to load the mags though. They are not the most ergonomic items to use.
While this was one I have been wanting for some time it sadly made me want to add another to the list. I think it is time for a belt fed rifle:) RPD is looking real appealing.
