Puma Chiappa 1911-22

Post by protector »

Got out to the range today and was able to benchrest this to see it's,and my ability on paper. After talking to Ron at Chiappa was told to put Federal bulk box through this? ???550 rounds later...no problems at all,no FTE's,no FTB's through the whole box ,consistent ejection at 4:00 everytime, and IMHO Chiappa 1911-22 gets a 2 Gigantic thumbs up!!!!! :)

Well I guess so, that darn good shooting, I'd hate to be standing it front of you or your Puma Chiappa 1911-22 at any distance, thanks for sharing.

Protector, when you purchased your Chiappa Puma, did you happen to see the Chiappa 357 Rhino?
I'm curious about your observationes if you did.

I knew that sooner or later some one would come up with a similar design, the ergonomics just make so much sense. Did you happen to get a chance to heft the revolver to get a feel for the weight, my guess is it's a scandium alloy similar to what S&W uses. Also, is the revolver a six round J or K frame design?
Thanks for letting me pick your brains, I really appreciate the info!
