CZ-82 Questions

Post by searcher36 »

I was wondering what the difference in width at the grip the CZ-82 is compared to the P-64? Also is it me or is the trigger guard have a larger opening? I'm thinking about getting one for CCW.
Thanks in advance.

Get them both. SOG has the CZ82 for 179.95 if you buy two. Later Don

CZ-82 Questions

I have had my CZ82 for over a year now and really like it. The trigger guard is a bit large - I read it accommodated the wearing of winter gloves.

The CZ shoots very nice and not very much recoil or 'snappiness' of some other pistols of its size. Trigger pull, both SA and DA, are very nice. No need to invest in a spring kit :)

I was initially surprised at how much smaller the P64 felt by comparison. It is quite a bit thinner as dolang noted and and about about .3 inches shorter.

I consider the CZ82 a much more refined pistol. Just not as easily "tuckable" imo.

You will enjoy having both.

you'll be amazed at the weight of the cz82, it's almost like there is no weight at all outside of the grip.

I have a cz82 you wont be sorry. just dont forget the barrel type so you are not shocked when you dont see the standard rifling.
as far as reliability you cant beat em. I qualify with it every year dont need a 2nd one for problems. Have seen many other autos at range less reliable. I have three extra mags for qualify day thats it.. alittle big for summer carry because of size..
