I saw this little gem and had to get it. It is a Romarm Carpati 95 in .380 Still trying to find time to get to the range with it.

6x6pinz, I have never heard of that gun but it looks really good. Almost like it should be in the 9x18 group. Let us know how it is, OK?

6x6pinz, please keep us informed, I've heard and read positive and negative reports; looks like a nice little pistol from here! What was the damage?

I paid $100.00 for the pistol and 15 to ship, 20 for the ffl to my local range. I had also heard mixed reviews on these little pistols but mainly it revolved around the finish. The machine work is a little rough but not that bad. I have heard it said they looked like something that came from a high school shop class, I did not find it that bad. They were made in the same factory that the SAR1's came out of to give you some sort of perspective. I will definately be at the range tomorrow and report back on its functional test. Just handling it, the trigger could definatel use some work. Even after a good cleaning it is a little rough.

for those who were curious. The Carpati and the P64 together.

Doesn't look bad at all to me--especially at $100!

Hay 6x6pinz, steel or alloy frame? The trigger and recoil should be an easy fix, it looks like the feed should be fairly flat, may handle HP ammo with no problem. I'm plus one with Norm on the photo's with the grips off. Looking foreword to hearing about the range report. Who has them for sale?

got mine on gunbroker, don't really see too many around. Century International Arms has then listed on their website. I would think a dealer who works with CIA could find out if they still handle them.
The gun is all metal.
Sadly work and getting ready for duck hunt this weekend did not afford me time to get to range. will have to do that Monday.
Will get the pics shortly.

Well at long last got to take it to the range today. Shot very well but definately not a ppk. Very crisp feeling in the grips and there is some room for polishing of the moving surfaces to make things feel smooth. No problem with accuracy but do need to make small adjustment to sights for my taste and all should be good. Considering price I am very happy to do the little work it will take to make this a great gun.
