Zastava Mod 70

Post by carguy »

I know Anjdrifter has one and conversation has been had that it is pretty cool. I know I'd like one but they are not "on the list" so the one I saw yesterday at a dealer in New Hampshire is not available to me. But if anyone else is interested, send me a pm and I 'll forward the contact info and maybe you could work a deal via a transfer.

The price was right at $165. It is a Zastava Mod 70 in 7.65mm (32 acp). I saw 1 magazine but there may be additional. I handled it and boy is it solidly built and in excellent shape (I did not field strip it).

A very nice gun for a great price...I wish I could have walked out with it :'(

I like mine too--I keep thinking about trading it in, but I pick it up and it fits so well into my hand..besides, my gun shop's blue book doesn't list it, so they won't take it in trade anyway! LOL! I just wish it had a half-cock, so I would feel safe keeping one in the tube. I found out I could rack the slide with one hand, tho, using my pants pocket/hammer loop/ side seam to catch the rear sight. I used to carry it cocked-and-locked, but the hammer kept snagging my shirt...

I had one, my first hand gun, not a bad piece for the price, fit well in my hand (bought it over a p-64 because it felt better). But I needed money bad so I sold it, the only gun I've sold, and it do regret it...party because I've never seen another one. Just get it, for the price it's a fantastic handgun.
