So I ordered myself one. :)

the expected ship date is on the 15th so I expect to take possession of my new fine piece of German engineering around the 20th.

Yep, I've got ya surrounded with a 220 and a 226, both from 86 if my mind is thinking straight.

I have a model 220 and a 225 and love both of them. My 225 came with a set of night sights and a hefty $325.00 price tag that did not include shipping or back ground check. I would say you did just fine on the price. My buddy fairly honest Ed paid $350.00 for his stock 225 from one of the local retailers.
Sounds like yours is a very good deal.

Barnett,

Put one on order myself about a week and a half ago. They've updated to state that the expected ship date will now be March 1st. :'(

I believe that at some point Sunday they changed their homepage from the $269 Sig P6 to the AR-15 "easy mag". However, before they did....they had listed on maybe Thursday or Friday that the expected ship date would be 3/1/08.

I know....bummer

Talked to Centerfire Systems today, and they said the Sig 225/P6's should be delivered to them by the end of this week. They said that they expected them to start shipping by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Volfandan,

Centerfire has updated the site to say that the expected ship date on the P6's is now sometime in the end of the month. :(

I saw that on their site a few days ago. Oh well....what can you do? Honestly, I'd have rather paid an extra $10 to AIM and already have one. It just sucks that I had already sent in a MO to get on the (now infamous) "backorder list" about 2 weeks before AIM ever listed them on their site.

I have had great luck and service from centerfire, though. They are nice to deal with, and I definitely recommend them to anyone.

http://www.centerfiresystems.com/

This is what I've been waiting for since late January!!! ;)

Barnette3006,

I've been checking their website DAILY. I feel like a little kid waiting on some new video game or toy. ::)
