Hey Norm,

I hear what you are saying about not buying guns for a while after buying the GREAT LOOKING Mustang; but that won't last long, LOL! Seriously, that is one nice looking car. I have always wanted a Mustang, but never owned one. The car rental agency I use often let me have a new Mustang Convertible during the summer. That is a fun driving car!

Back to the thread subject, I have had several Star Mod B made during WWII and they have all been excellent firearms. One I had was a German procured pistol with the Waffenamts which I never fired.

A couple of years ago, I bought my son an almost mint Star Mod BM for Christmas. I was soooooooo impressed with the pistol, I went back and bought me one. I think I paid about $159 for mine. I finally found a Spanish holster, spare magazines, and found original Spanish Police manual and an English manual. The only thing with the Star BM is to not fire any +P or high pressure cartridges as a steady diet. Using standard velocity rounds it will last a long time!
