Focusing on your sights

Post by papabear »

dedvlinfaust,

That's not bad shooting for the first time out trying something that is as different than what you are use to. Like I said in my post, it does take practice, and I have been doing it for a few years now, however, I can point shoot with either of my 64's and use the point shooting method, and I do keep both eyes open and hit a 9" paper plate with all 7 shots at 10 yards. I also practice using only one had too, and I don't do it every time I go shooting, but I shoot single handed with both my right hand and then my left hand, you never know what condition or situation you will be in when you have to defend yourself, and again, "PRACTICE" is the optimum word here.

Hey Carguy ! Is this what you were after?

On the right idea but what this guy had on his lens was much smaller. I'm guilty of saying I've been avoiding the sunday morning gang at the range (I like the solitude of afternoons alone). Except of course at the trap range we are really enjoying trap shooting alot. I think I need to start looking for a single shot 410 ga for something different to shoot trap with. There was someone there sunday shooting with what appeared to be a 410 ga double barrel "coach gun". Really cool a little short in the barrel department but looked like fun.

This bug guy with this little shotgun reminded me of the fat guy riding a moped...it just didn't fit. :D

By the way Devlinfaust, nothing personal, but that shirt from what I can see looks like it needed to be shot... :P

you wouldn't be talking about something like this would you?

I guess you could shoot with a Loupe on your glasses (not with this particular model though).

Again, something that is much smaller that stuck to the lens. I'll bet it was 1/4 of that size.

Now I'm going to have to go to the range on Sunday and hope the shooter is there. I will ask about it and take a picture to show everybodythat I really am not nuts! :'(

Seriously if I can find him I will try to get a picture and post so you see what I'm referencing. It is a shooting aid of some sort.
