I dont have a picture yet, but believe it or not my favorite revolver is a Tarus .32 H & R Magnum. 2" barrel and it is accurate at 20' easy. It has a compensated barrel so there is no recoil. If you ever get a chance to shoot one, do it. My second favorite is a colt python .44 Mag. nuff said.

or is that an anaconda, I can't remember. Don,t have the gun anymore but it sure was fun to shoot!

This revolver is my favorite. It has lots of sentimental value because my mother bought it for my dad in the early 1970's. Mother is no longer with us and dad wanted me to have the pistol. It is a 22 lr J.P. Sauer & Sohn from W. Germany. My wife used it to qualify with at her CCW class. It is much like a Smith Wesson K22 except it has a vented barrel.

redfestiva,
Very nice, I believe that is the "Trophy" model, and in EX condition, I know you will hold on to it, I know I would, thanks for sharing.

I am not a big revolver fan, but I have several. I have a Colt New Service in .44-40, a Colt 1909 Military in .45 LC, and a brace of Ruger New Vaqueros I shoot in Cowboy Action Shooting. For just plain fun, the Rugers in .45 LC are FUN to shoot. Here is a photo, but does not show much of the pistol...

My ONLY revolver right now is my 1895 Nagant--so I guess it's my favorite. But if I had my druthers, I'd have one of those Taurus .32 mags myself--or the 8-shot .22 mag. I think Taurus has the best variety of revolvers going currently...

Gentlemen:
Sorry this took so long. I had photobucket-phobia, but with help, I am getting better.
The top is my Dan Wesson .357 8 inch vent-heavy barrel. Very accurate.
The bottom is my RG 14 .22lr. I had erroneously said that it was an model 23, and I used to have an RG 23 but my inlaws stole it from me. That's another story. The difference between the RG 14 and RG 23 is that the RG 23 is the 'deluxe' version that has a swing out cylinder and ejector rod. The RG 14 has a pin you pull out and you poke the empties out that way. Primative, huh? Most RG's are regarded as pure junk, but a lot of these little 22's worked OK...at close range...without high powered ammo....

himmel, I looked up some stats on the .32 mag after I got it. It is right on with the .38 special. Smaller bullet with more powder. I have the ultra lite model and it still has almost no recoil.
What is your favorite revolver?
That was my understanding--just about level with .38 Spec, not quite as much recoil. I shoot 'em out of my Nagant on rare occasions-- I think the Taurus .32 Mag would be an excellent choice for an inexperienced shooter's first carry gun, even takes six rounds as opposed to most small-frame wheelguns these days.

Trent,
Are those the original grips, the design is reminiscent of the skull crusher that Merwin Hulbert employed so successfully on several of its revolvers. Very nice item..................... G.R.
