P64 mags
rmeron,
Here is a link to aftermarket magazines. They've received mixed reviews by our forum members. It seems that some work fine while others create feed problems. The originals have just about dried up unless you just get lucky and find someone selling them privately.

Good question - I have a 1974 used Mak that I would like to make my home defense weapon. I'll admit it took me awhile to get ammo for it (I always use my AK as home defense normally)...anyway...I finally got some ammo and found that it is a serious pain just getting two rounds in the mag due to the Olympic spring! Plus - there is no "hold-down" button like on a Ruger MK-II...any advice where to get a quality mag?
P.S. - this question has likely been asked a ton of times here - I'm new.....Thanks

BTW, when I shoot my P-64s, the aftermarket magazines are mixed in with the factory mags and they all perform well.

Some time ago I got flat grips from the importer and saw magazines on his website.
