P64 flap holster

I just purchased four holsters designed for the Makarov. The holsters are all leather made in the seventies, but never used. The set of four cost me about nineteen bucks including shipping. My P64 fits perfectly.
Take a look at www.sportsmansguide.com
They are noted as Holster,Makarov Rus 1.4
Good luck

A P64 will not fit "perfectly" in a makarov holster--you might think so, till you try a P64 holster. I got one from Bartos, and I couldn't be happier. It fits like it was made for the P64---because it was!

I have used a Makarov holster with my P-64, and it will work, but in reality it is larger and constructed differently. I have to agree with "amd6547", there is a big difference between the P-64 holster and the Makarov holster.

Sure, many holsters will "sorta fit", I even used an eastern european walther PP holster before I got the real thing. It worked just fine. I, for one like to accessorize a military pistol with the proper holster. Someday, after I am gone, it may add to the value.

Here's a photo I took some time ago - early last year? - of two flap holsters and one shoulder holster for the P-64, along with some assorted misc. stuff I ordered from Bartos.

nbender,

Thanks for your photo of the Polish holsters and accessories, very nice photo too. I really like your shoulder holster, it looks very comfortable, have to worn it much and how do you like it. I stated to get one from bartos061 back when he had them but didn't, wish I had though.

papabear, I'm guilty of purchasing those holsters and putting them away without trying them out. I need to pull that shoulder holster out and see how it actually works. Too many irons in the fire.
