I have my first P-64 enroute. It was made in 1977. I am getting ready to order my springs and Dennis grips.
I paid $165 for it with 2 mags.

Excellent! You got yours from the same place I got my last one, MCS. I like the way they do things. Since yours is a '77, unless you plan to fire DA, I think the SA trigger pull is acceptable. I did replace the recoil spring in a '73. Dennis's grips really improve the looks of the P-64.I have my first P-64 enroute. It was made in 1977. Bob,
Congratulations on your first P-64, and thanks for the great pic's, I see you are getting the original grips, for me that is a plus, you are going to really like your new pistol, but be careful, they grow in the dark. I know of a great many here that have had two, and several with three, and some even with four & five or more, I did have five at one time, gave one to son in law, sold two, still have a '69 & '76, and I have two sets of Dennis grips too. All toll, I have [5] 9x18 pistols, [2] P-64's, [2] Makarov's and [1] CZ82, love em all for different reasons, they will have to pull em from my dead cold fingers.
Take care and lets know how it shoots when you get a chance.

Does anyone know what the barrel twist rate is on the P-64's??
I can't wait for it to get here........Excellent condition Polish P-64 in 9x18 Makarov. Bore is bright with good rifling. Comes with 2 mags. Very nice and compact. May have a few minor scratches/marring from storage.
Thanks,
Bob

After your message, I decided to order another (they don't take up much space) from http://mcsfirearms.com/ and I picked it up today. It is another beauty and w/ two mags w/ matching #s. Life is good!

Got my grips today.............
Even the short screw is a bit too long. I will either need to replace or cut it.
They look and fit great though.

Maybe a little washer or two would help. Also, I always find that the grip screw gets a little loose after firing a few rounds. A slightly protruding screw isn't a bother to me -- maybe it would if I were left-handed.
