Thanks!

It's still easier to beg for forgiveness, than for permision.

accepting backorders. I called and mailed a check today. I'll post updates when (if) I get it.
SOLD OUT as per my visit to the site
You should note that shipping was like <s>$40.00</s>. Making it around <s>$200</s> shipped.
Updated. I thought that shipping sounded bad, so I called them back today and got it corrected. It should have been $28.00 for my zone. Making it $187 shipped. I also decided to throw on another M1895 Nagant revolver for $89.99+$6.50 additional shipping.
Handguns they say must go next day air UPS to 03FFL holders. 01 can go USPS. I don't see why they couldn't use the cheaper "second day air" or whatever it is. I've had stuff sent that way to me before.

I really got enticed by the $159 CZ-82s offered at Centerfire Systems. But I didn't like the rough look of those pistols in photos that I saw posted on another forum.
When I finally talked myself in to ordering one anyway, they were sold out. Hmmm... sometimes those things work out for the best.
I checked out CZ-82s at AIM Surplus, and ordered one from them for $209. With shipping to my zone, it came to around $225.
The gun arrived yesterday (along with 2 mags, leather holster, lanyard and cleaning rod) and I couldn't believe the condition of the gun. My FFL-guy didn't know how to describe the pistol on the paperwork. He kept vacillating between "used?" or "new?" "It looks new... but it must be used... gosh, it really looks NEW."
I don't have a CCW, so I have to wait 5 days to take it home in Washington State, but I am VERY impressed with the condition of AIM's CZ-82s. There is not even any holster wear on the edges, and the holster (kinda funky-looking) has never been used.
I am VERY happy with the purchase for $209. It was definitely worth $50 more than the $159 ones at Centerfire... at least in my opinion.
The CZ-82 will be a nice companion to my P-64. I also ordered 1,000 rounds of 9x18 from Ammunitiontogo.com on "Buy Ammo Day"... so I should be set for a while.
Now I just need to get to the range for the Turkey Day Shoot!
