My '72 P64 has a triangle hammer. I have seen other guns manufactured in '72 that have the round hammer. Where did the Poles draw the line? I would like a rounded hammer model.

I believe the change took place in 72.

Sorry, I would never get rid of it. I would not mind getting another!!! I have shot a lot of rounds through it without one malfunction. It is every bit as trustworthy as any of my firearms. It is my constant companion and is rarely without one in the tube.

I just picked up two new to me P-64's yesterday. Both 1975. One round hammer, one triangular hammer.

I wonder if the round-hammer '75 had been though the smith. Numbers match on it.

Hmmmmm.... I don't think I have heard of a round hammer after 72.
