Grip Question: Thumbrest or Not?

Post by redfestiva »

My P-64 came with thumbrest grips. I had no issues at all with them. I can't say I really like the flat grips any better performance wise but I keep the flat grips on simply because I like the way they look better.

Either the tunmbrest or flat work for me, but I like the looks of the flat grips better......I guess it is more military looking.

Grip Question: Thumbrest or Not?

I too will join the majority. For conceal and carry, less width is better. Another thing to consider is checkering. I definately prefer the this gun without. My holster is a IWB (deep cover) as my co-workers would probably not appreciate me carrying. The checkering (on the stock grips) irritated my skin as one might imagine. I installed some smooth wenge wood grips from Dennis and could not be happier. The gun looks beautiful and it is very comfortable to carry.

My 2 cents
