anyone know who has the best deal on P-64's?

Post by volfandan »

Hello, I am a newbie to the site, and really enjoy what you guys have here. I'm looking for a P64, and it seems that they are beginning to dry up. I can get one here in town for $175 + tax + background ($10)......but was just wondering if there are any websites out there still selling them for $130 to $150 range?

I could be wrong but I say buy it because the only importer of the P-64 to my knowledge was http://www.tennesseeguns.com/p64.html ever body else was a distributor and they don't have them

except one ( papabear you what to help me out with that distributor )

norm,

You are correct about the distributor's as far as I know, however, Gunbrokers has [8] of them listed on their site as of this morning. The best bet is to try to find them at dealers, pawn shops, and gun shows, but they do seem to be drying up.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchResults.asp

Here is another site I have found P-64's one:

http://www.gunboards.com/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=60

Sometimes you will find one on GunsAmerica:

http://www.gunsamerica.com/

I don't think TennesseeGuns list the price of them either, they have gone to selling to dealers mostly as far as I know, but I have not dealt with them so I can't say.

And their web page states that the P-64 was made in "Made in Random, Poland...".

pshootr,

Probably a typo [Random, Poland] but not good for business I wouldn't think, in the gun trade, Radom is fairly well known, I am a little surprised they let that go, but then they are from Tennessee...... ;D bunch of ridge runners....... ::) just kidding folks, us'en hillbilly's got no room to talk.

I got the same alert yesterday when went to their site. I tried to e-mail them and it wouldn't let me either, can someone else try. I was asking if they are drying up/how many were imported. they have answered my questions before and seem like helpfull people.

I had multiple pop-ups from avg saying that I just received a trojan downloader from their site. I would say they are infected and are passing it along to unprotected visitors. I will try to email them.

I'm using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Anti-Spyware Module 8.0.0. I work for a large software development company so they are very good about keeping up with the anti-virus stuff.

Dunno, I have AVG Free Edition, updated nightly, and no warnings here. Then again I'm running K-Meleon browser.

That is strange. I also have AVG on a (don't laugh) win98 PC. I had 3 attempts from their site to give me Trojan horse Dropper.Generic.MRR and it attempted to drop this in 3 places with 3 different names. This machine has IE6.0 SP1 so it may be a vulnerability issue with the browser.
