most of the time when large quantities of surplus firearms are imported into the country there are a lot of spare parts available, Poland with out a doubt had a lot of spare parts in stock for these pistols, you would think they would sell the spare parts off with the pistols, there is definitely a market for spares for the p64, i wonder what happened to all the spare parts?

Couple of sites that I have seen parts for the P-64 are ( Gallery of Guns ) and ( EBAY ).

Presently do not recall what the part was, but I know that I purchased something from a fellow in Poland, that was advertising on EBAY.

Or, you can do what some other folks have done. But two or three more P-64's and use them as PARTS guns, if need be.

I stand corrected :!: DUH :!: It was " GUNBROKER " that I have viewed people advertising parts for the P-64.

Purchased two pistols and a muzzle loading rifle kit this past week and forgot where I was at for a moment.
Usually have a good memory, just short.

yes, i do see a few parts for sale on various online sites, but im talking about the bulk of extra parts Poland must of had in stock for this model pistol, look at all the spare parts kits that were available for the makarovs, the German p1s, and other surplus pistols when they were sold off, there must be a ton of spares sitting in a warehouse somewhere in Poland

Well, being Polish myself, I have only one explanation. I personally know how well made Polish products are made. Thus, when the P-64's were produced, my Polish cousins must have thought that the gun is so well made, that nobody will ever need a spare part. Thus, their are no spare parts :!:

I think they're actually holding on to them, I've seen a couple p64 recently that appeared to have been refurbished before import. Lots of new internals and fresh bluing over relatively worn slides and frames

You may very well have the perfect explanation why people are not finding spare parts for the P64's on the market. I also have heard and read of folks purchasing P64's and that these firearms have various new parts in them.

Well it's simple. Century Int, P.W. Arms, etc. have simply not made a deal to import them in bulk into the U.S. If we want parts we need to pressure the importers to get them.

We see parts yes, but onesies and twosies of stuff, many in the U.S. look to be stripped from bad guns. We see brand new parts being sold on Gunbroker by a few people in Poland. So we know that there are P-64 replacement parts in Poland, they just have not been imported in bulk.
