I like this pistol

It's a keeper.
It's sleek and beautiful.
It disappears in my pocket in a DeSantis G2 pocket holster.

Now, I'm looking for some ivory colored grips....Open to suggestions.

I thought I would like to go with some wood, but no, ivory colored.
Maybe plastic or rubber...ivory colored.

I see a vendor on e-Bay selling plastic grips in all different colors for $20.00.
Anyone know if they are worth fooling with?

Before you charge off and purchase just any set of grips, I would look at the grips made by MARSCHAL.

http://www.marschalgrips.com/hires-p64/P64.HTM

I have a set of their grips on one of my P-64's and they are a perfect fit. And I really do mean " PERFECT " :!:

Only problem is you would be waiting for quality and custom made grips . Thus, be prepared to wait about (4) months after placing your order, to receive your set of grips.

MARSCHAL, even engraved my initials on the grips, at no extra cost. But as I said, be prepared to wait. To me, it was worth the wait. :D

Those are a work of art, no doubt.
The wait would be too hard on me though.
I was worried about slide bite before I fired my P-64.
The beavertail wooden grips would have addressed that concern.
However, after firing today, slide bite is not on my list now.

I may try a set of the $20 e-Bay grips.

I just took a quick look at Tillander Grips website. They do look like a nice grip and the pricing it decent.

If you take a look thru their GALLERY, if I am correct they do show P-64 with grips.

Kindly post what you get for a reply from them. Thanks ......... :)

Nice review. And I would recommend Polish Irons polymer grips. Soften the recoil some and feel great in the hands. Not as pretty as Marschall's but it is a working gun not a show pony. I love mine.

Yes some are not working but the majority of those who have spoken about them have been more than favorable. Like any product, works for some /most but not everyone.

One thing that I have found in reading reports about this firearm, is those that have had a problem with the P-64 have been able to make them to function fully from a good available parts supply.

Gives owners a somewhat peace of mind feeling.

Aren't we talking about grips? Did I miss something?
