I'd like to know if anyone knows what happened to Mongo? He was an early and regular poster and stopped posting suddenly.

Then I looked back at some others who have become MIA

And others. I'm always curious when somebody joins, racks up some 50 posts, and disappears.

I have emailed b52Stan fairly recently, but would like to know if he's Ok also.

nbender,

I talked to Stan back on May 27th, he was doing fine, he is back in Pennsylvania for the summer, gardening and fishing.

I think it comes down to some needing to learn stuff about the pistol then others stay to have something more whatever that connection is... just my 2cents.

Stan checks the posts, but doesn't always login. Have slowed down, but still am catching trout here in the Alleghenies, and the garden is doing great.

Shot two P-64s a few weeks ago with my oldest son. Not one hiccup, and he ran off with one of them.

Still a great message board. Hope you all have a super summer.

Some folks get really busy at times and don't have the chance. I've noticed that there aren't too many new questions, so I have also slowed down a bit ... and gotten busier at work. I also pick up a new project from time to time (a 1943 M1 Carbine from the CMP has most of my attention right now) ...

What can I say? I had no idea that someone would notice my 'silence', how flattering? Actually, I've been here all along, but didn't have an input that I thought needed posting. You know, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." OK, I also have to admit that more than several additional guns have slipped into my 'latest interest' bucket. But at least one is a 9x18 (CZ-82) and another is a .32 twin of my PA-63, so I am still close to the right caliber and my 64 is more than likely to be on my hip. I'll try to be more proactive, OK? - "Ivan"

I love my P-64s (got four), but I spend a lot of time reading up on other guns, before I buy. In the last few months I've added two Mosin 91/30s..mosin M44,M38. A Mak 90 AK 47, a Romy wasr 10 (love this one), and ammo. (Plus I still get the Honey-Do list done).
