Classic Firearms flash sale

Post by Ketchman »

Just got notified, Classic Firearms has P64's in "VG to Excellent" (their descriptors) for $179.00. This is a flash sale and will be very short. Also looks like holsters are also available but they are out of mags. Best price I have seen in quite awhile.

I've already purchased one from Classic. It was not as they described, thus perhaps the reason they returned the extra monies that I paid for BEST PICK.

NAW ! If I was looking for a parts gun of which I am not, I might buy from them. But even at that price, I will pass.

That seems to be a reoccurring theme with classic over the years, it's a chance you take with their descriptions.

Which would be the reason I said "Their descriptors". Buyer must always beware. But it is the best price on P-64's I have seen in quite some time.

Yes Sir, you made the right decision at the right time. :D

Classic and I emailed each other. I was ready to purchase one at the sale price, but I stated to them that I wanted " Pristine " condition. Which in my opinion is like new. I give them credit for admitting that they could not guarantee a P-64 in the condition that I was seeking. Thus, I did pass on the sale.

Only reason that I will only purchase one that is pristine, is because I already own one that is like new. It shows no signs of ever being fired. The magazine shows no sign of a round ever being loaded into it. Personally, I do not think that I will ever fire it as I do not want to take away the " new " appearance and rating.

Wishing you the best and enjoy.

I just picked up my first P64 from Classic Firearms for $180 + $20 for the hand pick. I will say the firearm looks about 98% to 99%. Mirror bore. No real signs of use except maybe an ever so slight loss of bluing smudge on the front of the frame. Magazine looks mint.

I still have to clean her up, but I am rather impressed. My only disappointment is that I did not buy two.

Also, new member here! Greetings!
